The International Kiko Goat Association (IKGA) was formed in 2004 to preserve and advance the Kiko Goat Breed. The IKGA is a member owned not-for-profit Association. The IKGA is run by volunteers and as of October 2006, had over 160 breeder members.
Kikofest is an event held each fall by the IKGA. The 3rd one held in Gray, TN at the Appalachian Fairgrounds on September 14-16, 2006 was the largest Kiko event ever held in the United States. Over 200 people attended and was represented by 21 states. There were 162 Kiko and Kiko Crosses consigned to the Kikofest Kiko Goat Auction. Attendees enjoyed great speakers from around the US, seminars, workshops, goat related vendors, door prizes, gift bags for all who pre-registered, goat meat lunches and dinners, Kiko Goat Auction and much more.
